About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer / Lead to streamline our development-to-deployment lifecycle, improve CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure, and champion automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring, with a passion for driving engineering excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
For DevOps Engineer:
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts, and containerized environments (Docker).
• Set up and maintain observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
For DevOps Lead (additionally):
• Architect and oversee scalable and secure DevOps solutions across multiple projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers; establish best practices and drive adoption.
• Partner with security, QA, and engineering teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve DevOps capabilities.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for infrastructure and delivery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
• Strong knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
• Deep understanding of security, networking, and DevSecOps principles.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
• Experience with microservices and service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Exposure to serverless architecture.
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., fintech, healthcare).
• Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps culture adoption.
