About the Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced MERN Stack Engineer to join our dynamic development team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications across the entire tech stack—from frontend UI to backend services and databases. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to build high-quality, user-focused software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Develop secure and scalable backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage databases (MongoDB), including performance optimization and schema design.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in full-stack development with the MERN stack.
• Proficient in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and agile development workflows.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design techniques.
• Understanding of security best practices, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and role-based access control.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Prior experience in a startup or product-based company is a plus.
