About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 1–3 years of experience who is passionate about quality and eager to make an impact. You'll be working at the client site, contributing to high-quality software delivery across web and mobile platforms.
Experience: 1–3 Years
Location: Gandhinagar / Ahmedabad (On-site at Client Location)
Work Mode: On-Site (Client Premises) OR Remote
Engagement Type: Contract to Hire Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure robust product quality.
• Execute functional, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing to validate consistency and usability.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms.
• Perform database testing using SQL to ensure backend accuracy and data integrity.
• Support performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter (basic level).
• Identify, report, and manage defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Follow and contribute to established QA best practices and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of practical QA experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
• Proven experience in manual testing and defect reporting.
• Experience with API testing and basic SQL for database validations.
• Exposure to JMeter or other performance testing tools (basic understanding).
• Experience with mobile app testing and cross-browser compatibility checks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and perform under tight timelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates must be local to Gandhinagar or Ahmedabad
• Candidates who are self-motivated, quick learners, and willing to work in a client-facing environment.
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Willing to work onsite at client location on a contract-to-hire basis
